4th of July

Every year Moreno Valley along with the local oldies station (Kola 99.9) put on a 4th of July extravaganza. It usually starts out with a parade and all day celebration at the local junior high and ends with a concert and a great fireworks display. This year was Eddie Money. We had a great time we skipped the parade and ended up picking up a box of KFC and headed for the grass to hear Eddie Money and his famous song "Two tickets to paradise". They opened up with a country bad called the Doo Riders. They were pretty good. Then came Eddie Money, he was great and put on a great show. We also watched a pretty terrific fireworks display. Getting home was a nightmare. We live only 10 minutes away but it took us almost an hour to get home. It amazes me how rude people are when it comes to getting out of a parking lot!!!

Kaycee bored with all the "Old Fogey Music" ( she's flipping her cell phone which is never out of sight)

I hear ya about the traffic, if only that didn't happen to us, our night would have been perfect.

Looks like you guys have been having a great time. I love live music, especially when it's outdoors, how fun!

Concerts in the park are always fun. Hopefully you all just relaxed in the parking lot jam, unlike another Davis I know who tends to overheat in such situations! :)
